Landing Assistant

Few things are as impressive as watching an expert pilot perform a flawless landing. And few things are as frightening as watching a fellow pilot perform a high flare, start to porpose, or suffer some other dangerous situation on landing.

We are currently designing and testing a landing assistant based on the airline industry's "autoland" feature. As its name indicates, it will NOT land the airplane for the pilot but will provide a HUD* to assist the pilot by providing an intuitive profile of the landing approach and flare including AGL readings.
