Alternator Bracket

Virtually all certificated aircraft position the alternator/generator away from the air intake - and usually below the propeller centerline so as not to obstruct the cooling air. So we remain mystified why some persist in selling an inferior design that obstructs the right intake. We just used common sense to design a bracket that works right to start with.

Our Alternator Bracket positions the alternator significantly lower while remaining above the bottom of the cylinder head so that an efficient, low-profile cowling can be used. This obviates the need for additional ducting and maximized the ram air available for cooling the engine.
